Dear Industry Partner,
On behalf of the UCSD Bioengineering Graduate Students Group (BEGS), we would like to invite you to attend our 23rd Annual Bioengineering Graduate Student Symposium on Friday, April 10, 2009. This event offers an excellent opportunity for interested members of the academic and industrial communities, as well as prospective students, to learn about the current research across multiple disciplines in our department.
The Symposium will be held in Y.C. Fung Auditorium located inside the Powell-Focht Bioengineering Hall, from 1 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Symposium provides a venue to share overviews of current laboratory research and individual student thesis projects in our department. Following the morning presentation, a poster session and reception will allow attendees to explore projects in detail and interact with students and faculty as well as alumni and industry. We hope this year’s Symposium will encourage dialogue and strengthen ties between our department and industry.
The Symposium is predominantly supported by grants and donations. While sponsorship is not required to attend, we would like to invite you to consider sponsorship of the Symposium and to join the tradition of excellence made possible by such donations. We encourage you take some time to review the different levels of sponsorship.
