BEGS Research Symposium

   22nd Annual UCSD Bioengineering

Graduate Research Symposium

Friday, April 4, 2008

PFBH - Fung Auditorium

1:00 - 5:00 PM Presentations

5:30 - 7:00 PM Cocktail Reception & Poster Session
                                                                                   (RSVP REQUIRED - see below)

New and Improved!

Traditionally, the research symposium has served both as a venue for bioengineering graduate students to showcase their work in the poster session and as an opportunity for different labs to recruit new students through lab overview presentations. However, with the changes to recruiting, BEGS has made some slight alterations to tailor the symposium to current graduate student interests.

The objectives of the event will be two fold:

  1. To give current 1st year graduate students insight to specific labs that they may have interest in joining from the perspective of fellow graduate students.
  2. To enhance interactions among current graduate students, faculty, and alumni.
