What We Do
The Executive Management Team consists of multiple Vice Presidents and is headed by the President. VP Finance manages the budget for BEGS. VP Internal manages the BEGS website and organizes social events for bioengineering graduate students. VP External organizes professional development events and alumni relations. VP Academic leads the annual Town Hall, Fellowship Application Critique Sessions, and Mock Qualifying Exams. VP Outreach oversees all outreach efforts of BEGS including the San Diego Science and Engineering Festival, USA Festival, and school outreach programs. The President works with the VP's and chairs to ensure all events go smoothly. The Executive Management meets once every quarter to discuss and plan upcoming events for the bioengineering graduate community.
